This is my attempt at one of those coy, sexy photos like all the other cool plus size Internet Babes. Am I doing it? Yeah, I think so. Somewhat expensive. Avenue - Measurement Guide - Looks like somewhere my mother would shop at.
Not bad- but everywhere from plain to garish. Mid range to expensive. Penningtons - Measurement Guide - Savior of the plus size women. Torrid - Measurement Guide - Would recommend to everyone. Great variety in clothing and prices.
However quality falls with lower prices. Affordable to mid range. I would not recommend. There are a few things I think look nice and the affordability spikes drastically in one direction to the next. Size to Figure - Measurement Guide - Holy crow, this is the goddess of all plus size women shops. Barely worth mentioning. Why- why has thou forsaken me? Killer Kurves.
Plus Model Mag. The Bigger Picture. If you want to recommend a store feel free to send me a message with with the name of the website and or store so that I can add that to the list. Originally posted by cutjepie. You find her face attractive but not her waist size. The fact she is big, you feel that takes away all her attractiveness. What if her being big is what makes her pretty, have you ever consider that.
Stop saying big women that are attractive to you are why you have trust issues. Are you ashamed of liking us but that seems like a personal problem. I love seeing plus size women wearing whatever the fuck they want and being happy about it because they literally radiate so much confidence and that is so beautiful.
What I find crazy is that whenever you see a plus size person being chased after by a attractive person that is not plus size it makes it a big deal for that plus size individual… but they never show you a plus size person being fanned over by another plus size person in the same way.
I got new boots from idiot. Photoshoot of plus size women with an ethereal style. Big girls in fantasy-like costumes, with long hair flowing down to their waist, near to ancient trees or to a glassy lake, surrounded by a ghostly mist. Not cute or sexy photoshoot although they are SO important - and usually stunning but haunting, beautiful, mysterious, delicate, enchanted photoshoot. Something different! I want to be an Elf. I want to be a Sidhe.
I want to be the Grey Lady of the castle and the Lady of Shallot. I want to be Titania, queen of the faeries. Can I? Hi, its can we please have more plus size women with stomachs and less of an hourglass figure?? Hi, its can we please have plus sized people be represented in more than one way so that everyone can feel great about themselves??
Why does it bother you when people are unapologetic of their self-love? When they love and embrace themselves no matter what society has to say? When the PostBigFines twitter page was created, it immediately received an onslaught of negativity from women and men who think that your size is what qualifies or disqualifies you for love and praise. Plus size women have always been treated poorly. It bothers you that plus size women are getting positive attention? That dark skin women get attention?
How sad, how pathetic, how privileged, you are. You have to try and make women, your sisters, feel shitty about themselves? Keep reading. How does a high school boy go about telling his parents he likes plus size women more than the normal size woman…..
I have this problem ,I like bigger girls with wider hips and bigger bust.. Like many groups of women who are attracted to men this week, some friends and I went out to see Magic Mike.
We went in with no expectation of plot, just looking for gorgeous specimens of what our current culture typifies as maleness gyrating around nearly naked on a big screen. And that is what we got. And I was surprised at how interesting the plot was, at least in that it was an interesting attempt to explore the characters of Mike and Adam.
I was thrilled, to be honest… look, a woman I can relate to having just as much fun with the hot guys as all the rest of the women! How fantastic! Way to go! Fuck anyone who says that only the supermodels get to have fun!
Rock your curves, bitch! He sets the woman down and without even saying anything to her, walks off the fucking stage, with his hand to his lower back. And she is just standing there with this still excited, what the fuck just happened, where did my fantasy fireman go, face… which you just barely get to see deflate into confused before they cut the scene.
And for that moment, that tiny moment, I am that woman. I am absolutely mortified that this male stripper, who had so thrilled me by lifting me up a moment ago, because when the hell does that ever happen, when do I get treated like the rest of the girls, actually fucking injured himself because of my weight.
And I am standing up on a goddamn stage now, in front of a hundred screaming women, the lights on me, the music still going, having just taken their show away. I want to crawl into a hole a die. This is 10 seconds of my personal version of hell. And that is the scene I keep coming back to over and over again with Magic Mike. This is what I remember of the movie because it was the only part that had a real emotional impact. But someone should have caught this shit before it hit the screen. I mean, in my mind, it is just good marketing to make sure that you work to please all of your target demographic.
Fuck, this is the same argument I have about wedding dresses and how women typically have to order two sizes largerin a wedding gown than their normal dress size.
And therefore not feel good about yourself. See, in my mind some clever person should, by now, have decided that wedding dresses should be sized in a way that you fit into a size smaller than usual.
What better way to get a woman to blow a shitload of money on clothing than convincing her that she just fit into a size smaller than expected?! And this is even MORE true with plus-sized women. Should these stupid numbers mean so much to me, have such a psychological impact on me?
But they do. Back to the movie. So why in the name of the nine hells would you alienate a proportion of your target demographic, make them feel uncomfortable with themselves and unworthy of being at such a spectacle, by including such a stupid joke?
There was no point to it. Just a passing moment that I am sure the writers thought was funny. None of it is. But this is where we are. And I know that I am not alone.
Do I want to go jump off a bridge after this? But it does make me angry. There was no reason to include that moment in a movie that is entirely based around a group of women having fun rejoicing in their own sexuality in a way that has typically been and still is taboo. That enjoyment of sexuality should include women of all sizes and shapes and colors and origins, but I can only rant about so many problems at a time. Way to alienate part of your target demographic, you ignorant shit-heads. Log in Sign up.
