You may know that Google is tracking you, but most people don't realize the extent of it. Luckily, there are simple steps you can take to dramatically reduce Google's tracking. Now you could land on planets. There were several types. Exploration quickly became dull, as there was nothing to see. So were the procedurally generated missions. In came its next sequel, Frontier: First Encounters. It was basically the same game with better graphics, a slightly larger Bubble, and hand-made missions. In we got Spore which was heavily advertised having an practically infinite, procedurally generated galaxy in its endgame. Which were mostly dick monsters of various designs. By then, I was fairly jaded by all those claims of infinity.
Guess what they built the hype on… Infinite procedural generation. But you young guys still fell for it. It was amusing to watch, as by then, I was pretty sure what comes next. I had a good time laughing at those overhyped then mightily disappointed people. Procedural generation is boring. But at least now you too know what to look for.
There is considerably more content than the last time I played. There are multiple gaming paths, and seemingly different ways to play. I also like that I can now have multiple bases and easily teleport between them. This allows me to set up in different types of worlds, getting easier access to specialized resources for crafting.
